How We Use Information

• Allow you to search and filter your saved bookmarks

Data Storage

All data collected by Pinner is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage using Chrome's storage.local API. This means:

• Your data never leaves your device
• Your data is not accessible to us or any third parties
• Your data is only accessible to you within your browser
• Your data is automatically deleted if you uninstall the extension

Permissions

Pinner requires certain permissions to function:

• activeTab: To access the current tab's content for detecting selections and highlighting bookmarks
• storage: To save your bookmarks locally on your device
• contextMenus: To provide right-click menu options for bookmarking
• Host Permissions (for Claude and ChatGPT domains): To inject the necessary scripts that enable bookmarking functionality

These permissions are used solely for providing the core functionality of the extension and not for collecting or transmitting data.

Third-Party Access

Pinner does not share any data with third parties. The extension operates entirely locally within your browser.

Data Retention

Your bookmarks are retained in your browser's local storage until:

• You manually delete them using the extension's interface
• You clear your browser's extension storage
• You uninstall the extension

Children's Privacy

Pinner is not directed at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
